The Presidents Council of the Farnsworth Art Museum is pleased to announce the fifth annual Maine in America Gala, to be held at the museum on Saturday evening, June 26th, 2010. The centerpiece of the event will be the presentation of the Maine in America Award to Alex Katz.

The first four Maine in America Galas were sold out and had waiting lists. This exciting community event marks the beginning of the summer social season and we hope that you will join other community-minded individuals who participate and support the Farnsworth Art Museum. The evening will be devoted to honoring Alex Katz, to welcoming friends back for the season, dancing and having a good time.

Depending on the level you choose, your participation will include reservations for the event, a tribute in the Gala Journal and various levels of recognition and visibility.

There will be only 30 tables of 10 seats each, and reservations are limited. Your early participation will not only guarantee you a reservation for this superb event but will enable us to ensure the Maine in America Gala meets its fundraising goals for vital support of the Farnsworth Art Museum.
