This is a 10-week course in direct, primal drawing from life, forgetting "rules" and letting one's character dictate style. Participants of all ages will explore the self and the richness of the world. For over 25 years, Sam Cady has taught in the MFA program at the School of Visual Arts in New York and shows at the Caldbeck Gallery in Rockland. His own work begins with the physical, visible world and the ideas and emotions it triggers.
 
Level: ages 6 to 100; beginner to advanced
