How can we use visual critique in the classroom to encourage critical thinking, thoughtful reflection, and a stronger revision process of student work? This workshop is an interactive practicum designed to demonstrate how we can use visual critique lessons, such as “Hang and Shares,” as a method of enhancing student learning goals. We will workshop in the museum galleries, examine samples of student work, and practice this process with our own artwork. Education Project Manager, Andrea Curtis, will model this process and share classroom connections.
