Building Bridges
This project connects the islands of Penobscot Bay to the mainland through art. Selected island students spent the summer of 2007 working with professional mentoring artists. At the end of the summer the resulting work was sent to Julia's Gallery where the teen volunteers took the fall to curate this exhibition. This project was sponsored in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
