The Farnsworth and Bay Chamber Concerts have teamed up to present a series of Wednesday evening talks by Bay Chamber Artistic Director Thomas Wolf and Farnsworth Chief Curator Michael K. Komanecky entitled Art and Music: An Exchange. Each talk, available only to Farnsworth members and Bay Chamber Concert subscribers, will precede one of Bay Chamber’s concerts at The Strand Theatre. Featuring different works of art from the Farnsworth collection each week, these dynamic talks will focus on the interaction between the visual and performing arts.
 
These talks are free of charge and for Farnsworth members and Bay Chamber subscribers only. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

(with Fred Starr founder and musician with the Louisiana Repertory Jazz Ensemble)
A look at American’s unique voice in music and art as it emerged in the early years of the 20th century.
