The third in a series of exhibitions featuring prints from the collection of the Farnsworth Art Museum, this show considers conceptual and technical trends in American printmaking since 1940. A range of techniques are represented in the show, including prints in relief, intaglio, lithography, screen printing, photo-mechanical art and alternative processes works by Milton Avery, Leonard Baskin, Robert Indiana, Alex Katz, Larry Rivers, Andy Warhol, June Wayne and others have been selected for this exhibition.
