This summer the Farnsworth is celebrating the life of Andrew Wyeth. Although Andrew Wyeth was born in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, he began coming to Maine when he was a small boy.  He spent each summer here in the mid-coast area where the people and landscapes had a profound influence on him. The exhibition, A Tribute to Andrew Wyeth features over 30 Maine paintings that span Andrew’s career from the 1930’s to some of his most recent work.
