The Olson House
Painter Andrew Wyeth created many of his best-loved works at the Olson House, the home of Christina Olson and her brother Alvaro. Christina's World, painted at the house in 1948 and now owned by the Museum of Modern Art in New York, is perhaps his best-know work painted there. The Olson House is located 14.5 miles from the museum in Cushing, ME. Admission can be purchased in combination with general museum admission or can be purchased on site separately.
