Fundraising events are great opportunities for the members and friends of the Farnsworth to support the museum in a social setting. There is usually one major fundraising function during the year that can range from an art auction to a gala to a lobster bake. The major requirements are good food, good fun and good company with a liberal dash of good entertainment added. The Farnsworth fundraiser is one of the highlights of the Midcoast social season.
