There are twelve different membership levels at the museum that fall into two categories—Basic and Supporter Membership. Museum members may also participate in the museum's Giving Clubs.

• Unlimited free admission to all Farnsworth Art Museum properties, including the main museum and Library, Wyeth Center, Julia's Gallery, Homestead and Olson House in Cushing, Maine
• Invitations to member-only exhibition previews featuring curatorial tours, Friday Night Parties, lectures, films and other special events
• Reduced fees on most classes, camps, workshops and other educational programming for all ages
• Subscriptions to the museum newsletter Farnsworth Now and the monthly E-newsletter
• 20% discount on publications, posters and cards created by the Farnsworth Art Museum; 10% discount on most other merchandise in the Museum Store and E-store with double discount days periodically being offered
• Reciprocal free admission to 10 New England regional museums
