Celebrate the launch of Camden photographer Brian Vanden Brink's stunning new book, Ruin: Photographs of a Vanishing America. Hosted by Down East Books, the event will begin in the museum's auditorium with a talk by Vanden Brink followed by a book signing and wine reception in the museum library. Books will be available for purchase at the event. Photographed with Vanden Brink's strength of using available and manipulated light to evoke the character in the architecture, this book will stand as a monument not just to buildings that will soon sink into oblivion, but to the lasting quality and appeal of Vanden Brink's work.
