Join museum curators and educators for a more focused look at some of the museum’s key summer exhibitions. All tours will depart from the main lobby, with the exception of the N.C. Wyeth: Poems of American Patriotism and The Wyeths: Family and Friends tours, which will meet in the Wyeth Center lobby.

This exhibition, primarily drawn from the museum’s collection, will feature works by Fitz Henry Lane, John Joseph Enneking, Marsden Hartley, James Fitzgerald, Andrew Winter, and Carl Sprinchorn.  The tour will explore the physical, spiritual, and cultural landscape of Maine’s mountains as depicted in paintings, poetry, and literature through the lens of the historical record and Wabanaki myth and legend.
