BADASS Women Making Maine HERstory

We celebrate the legacies of badass Maine women – community nursing founder Eliza Steele, United States Senator Margaret Chase Smith, and artist Edna St. Vincent Millay – through stories told by three women they inspired. Organization leader Peta vanVuuren, scholar Harley Rogers, and artist Lois Anne each tell how these courageous and visionary women infuse them with the courage to make a difference and ensure future generations of Maine herstory.
