Beautiful Blackbird Children’s Book Festival

The Farnsworth Art Museum and the Center for Maine Contemporary Art present the Beautiful Blackbird Children’s Book Festival in Rockland, Maine. Author Dinah Johnson will be reading from her picture book Indigo Dreaming in the Farnsworth Art Museum Library at 1 p.m. The reading will be followed by a collage art-making activity in the Gamble Education Center from 2-3 p.m. where free copies of Indigo Dreaming will be given away. Additionally, tote bags containing Beautiful Blackbird Children’s Book Festival books will be distributed.
Admission is free from 1-3 p.m. Registration is suggested for the book reading in the Library.
