Beautiful Blackbird Children’s Book Festival

Join the Farnsworth and the Center for Maine Contemporary Art for a celebration of this year’s Beautiful Blackbird Children’s Book Festival.
Activities will include

• Read Aloud at CMCA in the courtyard at 1 p.m. with Veronica Perez reading Blue by Nana Ekua Brew-Hammond, illustrated by Daniel Minter.
• Art making at both CMCA’s Art lab and in the Gamble Education Center on the Farnsworth Campus at 9 Grace Street from 2-3 p.m.

Open to all ages and all art-making activities are free at both institutions!
