Breaking New Territory: Poetry Writing Workshop with Kathleen Ellis

Mondays and Wednesdays; August 8, 10, 15, & 17 from 10 am to 12 noon, on Zoom

Where are we going? Where have we been? Using maps and other guideposts in this two-week live Zoom workshop, we will explore the theme of breaking new territory and the voices we carry with us in times of crisis and renewal. Using the museum’s exhibits and diverse poetic styles and constraints, we will generate poems for critique in a supportive environment. Open to poets and visual artists who have taken a previous workshop by Ellis. Limited to 12.

Monday, August 22, at 5 pm join us for a free public poetry reading by participants in both workshops.
