Fill your watercolor paintings with expression and mood! Watercolor is such a beautiful and fun medium to use. Its spontaneous nature and soft translucent light make it ideal for capturing light and creating a variety of moods.
In this class, we will talk about how design elements, such as value, color, and line, play a role in capturing expression and light. We will take a look at some select pieces of the Farnsworth’s Wyeth collection and discuss what decisions the masters made to help tell the story and mood in each piece. In each class, we will learn techniques and painting strategies to add to your “toolbox” that will help you fill your work with more light and mood.
This class is intended for advanced beginner and intermediate-level students.
