Drawing Techniques with Mark Kelly

In this four-day workshop, through a series of traditional and experimental exercises, discussion and dialogue, visiting artists, field trips and presentations, this class will delve into ways of seeing and creating. With a focus on letting go of entrenched ideas about art-making, students will be encouraged to forge into territory they may not have explored before.

Mark Kelly is a multi-media artist who is based in Lincolnville. He earned his BFA in painting from the Massachusetts College of Art and was a founding partner of Belfast’s Aarhus Gallery. He has exhibited his work throughout Maine and New England.
