Join us for three sessions this spring as we experiment and problem solve in the studio. Using water-based media and collage, we will work through a series of guided exercises that will hone our use of value, composition, color and more. To propel your painting practice, be prepared to work on multiple surfaces simultaneously. There will be plenty of time for individual work and discussions. This class is open to all levels! Please bring a bag lunch and a sketchbook.
Ingrid Ellison is a painter and arts educator working in oil, mixed media and printmaking. She is a graduate of Skidmore College and earned her MFA from American University. She has exhibited at the CMCA, Åarhus Gallery, the University of Maine Bangor, the Cynthia Winings Gallery and AVA Gallery and Center for the Arts. See examples of her work at www.ingridellison.com
