October 30, 2020 @ 1:00 pm – October 31, 2020 @ 4:00 pm

Join us for our annual Free Fall Family Festival – 2020 Virtual Edition! From Friday, October 23 through Saturday, October 31, in response to current restrictions on large public gatherings, we will be hosting free remote activities and experiences geared especially for children and families! All are invited to join in the celebration of this beautiful, crisp time of the year.
Pre-register and pick up your free Fall Family Festival Jack-O-Lantern Kit which includes everything needed to design and create a Halloween Jack-O-Lantern–including the pumpkin! The kit includes a child-safe pumpkin saw and scoop, pumpkin recipes, and ideas for making use of your pumpkin goo. There is no charge for Jack-O-Lantern Kits, but a reservation is required.
An outdoor table will be set up just beyond the museum doors at the Museum Street entrance for reserved Jack-O-Lantern Kits to be picked up. Pick up times will be:
- 1 – 4 p.m., on Friday, October 23, Monday, October 26, and Wednesday-Friday, October 28-30.
- 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, October 24 and 25.
- Pick up will not be available on Tuesday, October 27.
The Farnsworth remote pumpkin-carving kits are offered free of charge thanks to the support of Beth’s Farm Market in Warren. Participants are invited to upload photos of their carved pumpkins below on the bottom of this page!

In addition, talented musician, mime, and educator Scot Canon will provide a live, family friendly performance via Zoom on Friday, October 30, at 7 p.m. and again on Saturday, October 31, at time 10 am. The Zoom show, entitled BE POSITIVE BE PRODUCTIVE— A Mime & Music Family Workshop, is a 45-minute program featuring Halloween-inspired songs that the whole family will enjoy. There is no charge for the performance, but registration is required. More information is available below.
