First Friday Film: The First Monday in May
May 5, 2017 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
The First Monday in May offers an unprecedented look behind the scenes of two of New York’s premier cultural events, the heralded “China: Through The Looking Glass” exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, and the star-studded Met Gala that celebrates the opening of the exhibition. The film follows Condé Nast Artistic Director Anna Wintour and Andrew Bolton, Vogue’s iconoclastic editor-in-chief, Met Gala chair, and exhibition curator for eight months as they prepare for an evening they hope will take the worlds of art and fashion by storm.
Join us for our new 2017 season! First Friday Films take place May through October, and are presented in collaboration with The Strand Theatre.
