Free Community Opening and First Friday—Sponsored by First National Bank

On Friday, October 6, from 5 – 8 p.m., the Farnsworth will host a free community opening for the opening of the exhibition Black and White: Louise Nevelson/Pedro Guerrero. The community opening, sponsored by First National Bank, will feature a screening of the epic Italian silent film Cabiria in the museum Library, fun craft activities, milk from both black and white cows, and other creative activities.
As an added bonus, the silent film in the library will be live-scored by Jake Greenlaw and Joe Nelson of the renowned local band the Toughcats.
All galleries in the main museum building will be open and admission will be free.
