Joyce Tenneson: A Photographer’s Life

Joyce Tenneson has embarked on a remarkable career that has taken her from national to international galleries, and has been featured in magazines such as: Time, Life, Newsweek, Premiere, Esquire and The New York Times Magazine. Her images of women, strong and resilient with voices of inspiration and courage, particularly resonate with many audiences. Tenneson will present her talk on what her career has been like photographing such powerful women, and as interpreter of her subjects’ personal stories. Tenneson’s photography is in the collection of the Farnsworth Art Museum.
