Make an Artist’s Book Using Leporello Binding with Elizabeth Ogle
August 25, 2020 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Tuesdays, August 18 and 25 from 1 – 3 p.m. on Zoom
Join book artist and illustrator Elizabeth Ogle to create and decorate a concertina book using the Leporello binding style. This unusual binding is created by attaching folded page spreads back-to-back to create a continuous accordion shape. Over the course of two sessions, attendees will create and decorate a hard-cover artist’s book of their own. Previous bookmaking experience is recommended but not required.
Elizabeth Ogle is a professional freelance illustrator and book artist. She holds a BFA in illustration with a minor in creative writing from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where she was a recipient of the Illustration Departmental Honors and the Illustration Faculty Choice Award.
