March 11 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
This highly lauded duo are regular guest artists at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, China as well as enjoying U.S. performing and teaching careers. This program is anchored by Rachmaninov’s Cello Sonata in G Minor, a work that explores the two instruments’ capacity for expressive tenderness and is filled with the character typical of Russia’s Romantic era.
Presented in partnership with Bay Chamber Concerts, our lunchtime concerts offer a midday break in the relaxed atmosphere of library in downtown Rockland. This hour-long performance includes freshly-prepared soup provided by Atlantic Baking Co. plus free admission to the museum following the performance.
