Millay Arts and Poetry Festival

The 3rd Annual Millay Arts and Poetry Festival will be celebrated in part at the Farnsworth Art Museum on Saturday, September 7. From 10 to noon, a poetry writing workshop will be held in the library for children ages 4–12. At 2 pm, Wesley McNair will deliver a poetry reading in the Farnsworth auditorium and speak to the connections between Edna St. Vincent Millay’s development and his own as a poet. A reception, including a piano and voice recital of three Millay poems by Efrem Zimbalist, will follow in the library.
