Conductor, acclaimed flutist, and educator, Orlando Cela leads multiple university and professional ensembles, both choral and instrumental, in the US and abroad. George Lopez is a dynamic performer and educator, known for his “kaleidoscopic colors and clarity of conception” LA Times. Their Music@Noon program features Bach’s Sonata in E-flat major, Daniel Schnyder’s Sailing, excerpts from Brahms’ Opus 76 and 118, revolutionary composer and flutist Robert Dick’s Flames Must Not Encircle Sides and French composer Mel Bonis’ Sonata for Flute and Piano.

Presented in partnership with Bay Chamber Concerts, our lunchtime concerts offer an opportunity to take a midday break in the relaxed atmosphere of the museum’s library. The hour-long performances begin at 12 pm. Ticket includes a freshly-prepared lunch provided by Atlantic Baking Company plus access to the museum following the performance.
