Online Watercolor Course: Autumn in New England, with artist Erica Qualey

November 8, 2022 @ 3:00 pm 5:00 pm

Tuesdays, Nov 1-22, 2022  3–5 pm, on Zoom

Autumn in New England is a feast for our eyes with glowing yellows, oranges, and reds, but can also be one of the most challenging seasons to capture in a painting. In this Tuesday afternoon weekly class, we will discuss all things trees, one of my favorite subjects to paint! You will learn to create distinguishing tree shapes, create natural and organic looking canopies, and capture the luminous colors of fall.

Meeting virtually over the course of four, 2-hour sessions, classes will be filled with discussion, demonstrations, and class paint alongs. Participants will have ample time to ask questions and receive individual feedback on their work. This course is designed for beginner and intermediate painters. Some painting experience is helpful but not necessary. Materials list will be sent to participants.
