Conductor, acclaimed flutist, and educator, Orlando Cela leads multiple university and professional ensembles, both choral and instrumental, in the US and abroad. George Lopez is a dynamic performer and educator, known for his “kaleidoscopic colors and clarity of conception” LA Times. Music@Noon favorites, their program this season includes:
JS Bach Sonata in G Minor, BWV 1020
Otar Taktakishvili Sonata for Flute and Piano in C Major
Claude Bolling Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano (selections)
Presented in partnership with Bay Chamber Concerts, our lunchtime concerts offer a midday break in the relaxed atmosphere of library in downtown Rockland. This hour-long performance includes freshly-prepared soup provided by Atlantic Baking Co. plus free admission to the museum following the performance.
