Painter’s Forum with Rob Pollien
March 17 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
3rd Fridays of the Month starting March 17
This four-part Painter’s Forum, which meets online once a month, fosters engagement with one’s work while sharing with a community of fellow painters. Discuss your work with fellow painters while working on a series of cumulative, sequential exercises that promote greater depth of expression and increased technical mastery.
- Preparatory studies: thumbnail drawings, color studies, building a painting from the ground up
- Working and composing with color. Exploring the color theory work of Itten, Albers and Zorn
- Additional topics as they arise in our discussions focusing on building effective visual language
