3rd Fridays of the Month starting March 17

This four-part Painter’s Forum, which meets online once a month, fosters engagement with one’s work while sharing with a community of fellow painters.  Discuss your work with fellow painters while working on a series of cumulative, sequential exercises that promote greater depth of expression and increased technical mastery.

Topics:

  1. Preparatory studies: thumbnail drawings, color studies, building a painting from the ground up
  2. Composition
  3. Working and composing with color. Exploring the color theory work of Itten, Albers and Zorn
  4. Additional topics as they arise in our discussions focusing on building effective visual language
