Painters’ Forum with Rob Pollien
February 12, 2021 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Fridays, January 8, February 12, March 12 and April 9 (Second Fridays of the month), 1 to 3 pm
Online via Zoom
This class at the Farnsworth Art Museum, for experienced painters that want to increase their skillset, offers four oil or acrylic painting projects over four months. These will include demonstrations, lectures, an online forum, discussion, and critiques! The projects will begin with palette management and color mixing exercises and progress through a series of color-related painting problems. The work of master painters, Joseph Albers, Johannes Itten, and Anders Zorn will be referenced, examined, and incorporated in our study. If you want to improve your control and understanding of form, composition, structure, color, and color mixing–this is the course for you. The Forum meets the 2nd Friday of each month, January through April.
