Painting with Andrew Wyeth Egg Tempera Workshop 2

February 7, 2022 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm EST

Teaching palette and paintings

Four Mondays, January 24, 31, February 7, and 14, 10 am to 12 noon (Eastern Time) Online via Zoom.

In this workshop continuing students can deepen their tempera painting techniques and practice. New students can learn the basics of the egg tempera technique. Using the work of Andrew Wyeth as inspiration, we’ll work together on one painting throughout the workshop, building and refining our work as we go. In addition, we’ll address specifically some art-making principles such as composition, how to render objects, light and dark, creating shadow, color mixing, and more. A supply list is provided with registration.
