Perspective Drawing with Tanya Harsch

September 1, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

$30

Learn the ins and outs of linear perspective through demonstrations and individual instruction. This workshop will walk you through the various applications of linear perspective from simple one point perspective to complex, multi-point perspective as applied to anything from the humble cube, to a city of buildings, to the complex geometry presented by a donut. After each concept has been presented, students will have an opportunity to immediately use it themselves, drawing simple scenes to understand the concepts in practice. Some drawing experience recommended.

A realist painter working out of her studio in Appleton, Tanya Harsch trained in the atelier tradition at the Florence Academy in Italy and the Ravenswood Atelier in Chicago. As a member of Oil Painters of America, American Women Artists and the American Artists Professional League, her work has been exhibited throughout the country and she is currently represented by Lotton Gallery in Chicago. With over ten years of teaching experience, she offers both workshops and classes; previous teaching posts include the Ravenswood Atelier, the New Art Center and the New England School of Fine Art.
