Two Saturdays, March 5 and 26 from 10:30 am to 12 noon (Two weeks between class meetings. No classes on Sat. March 12 and 19.) Offered online via Zoom.

Learn the ins and outs of linear perspective.  This workshop will walk you through the various applications of linear perspective from simple one-point perspective to complex, multi-point perspective as applied to anything from the humble cube, to a city of buildings, to the complex geometry presented by a donut.  After the instructor presents each concept, students will have an opportunity to immediately use it themselves, drawing simple scenes and understanding the concepts in practice. Supply list: Pencil, pencil sharpener, eraser, ruler, paper pad 11×14 inches.

Tanya Harsch is a classically trained oil painter and printmaker.  Her paintings have been exhibited around the country and her subjects vary from people to objects to landscapes; she is most well known for her still lives of toys.  She has over a decade of teaching experience in both drawing and painting and works out of her studio in Appleton, Maine.
