Piecework: Textile as Painting with Ingrid Ellison
September 14, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
$144
Fridays, September 14 to October 26 (No class on September 28)
Using found materials, worn out clothing and supplies from the sewing basket, we will work on assembling inventive pieces of textile art. Painting principles such as color, form, texture and composition will be discussed in regards to combining and arranging fabric swatches. While sewing experience is not necessary, we will use simple needle and thread as well as iron-on fusing to attach pieces together. Please note this is not a traditional quilting class.
