“The Firefly Experience” with Firefly the Hybrid

Firefly, a member of the Penobscot Nation and traditional culture keeper of the Wabanaki, seeks to illuminate the beauty and power of his ancient Indigenous culture through a performance of electrifying music, visuals, storytelling, and creativity in a modern context.
Firefly brings his hyper-creativity to the Strand stage in partnership with the Farnsworth Art Museum, where Firefly’s 2022 film Wabanavia is in the museum’s permanent collection. This uniquely designed and engineered performance is accompanied by visual effects to celebrate Wabanaki sovereignty. We look forward to having you join us for this very special event!
