Monday and Wednesday, June 20, 22, 27, and 29, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
This is a two-part ZOOM workshop exploring the night sky & the night mind. How does poetry allow us to speak for the universe we inhabit? In this two-week workshop, we will explore a wide array of art and poems that widen our perspective as they offer consolation and meaning in an impartial universe. Using the museum’s collection and diverse poetic styles, we will generate new poems for class critique in a supportive environment. Poets & visual artists of all levels Welcome. Participants will be sent links to artwork chosen for this workshop from the Farnsworth’s collection, two short videos, and selected poems prior to each workshop week.
