Watercolor Fundamentals with Erica Qualey
May 2 @ 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm EDT
Tuesdays, 3-5 p.m. on Zoom
Watercolor is a beautiful medium that can create complex and expressive paintings, but can also feel overwhelming and frustrating. In this class you will learn how to understand the nuances of watercolor behaviors, gain an understanding of the different tools and supplies used, and about fundamental techniques that act as the foundation for paintings. Using demonstrations, group paint projects, and some inspiration for practicing at home, this class is designed to provide enough experience and understanding of the medium to boost your confidence and let you embrace the joy of painting with watercolor.
Meeting virtually over the course of four, 2-hour sessions, classes will be filled with discussion, demonstrations, and class paint alongs. Participants will have ample time to ask questions and receive individual feedback on their work. This course is designed for beginner and intermediate painters. Some painting experience is helpful but not necessary. Materials list will be sent to participants.
