Word and Image: A Generative Writing Salon with Jodi Paloni
March 12, 2022 @ 9:30 am – 12:30 pm EST

Saturday, March 12, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, online via Zoom
Join local author and career educator, Jodi Paloni, via Zoom, for a generative writing salon inspired by visual images selected from current exhibitions and the museum collections paired with snippets of poetry and prose to spark curiosity and imagination. Participants will engage first in a “sudden prompt” to get the creative juices flowing, and then break to write “alone among others” for about 30 minutes. Finally, writers will share their work fresh from the page and receive purely positive feedback.
Jodi Paloni is the author of the collection, They Could Live With Themselves (Press 53) runner up for the Press 53 Award for Short Fiction, an IPPY Silver Medalist, and a finalist for the Maine Book Awards.
