Artist Jay Burch finds inspiration in nature and often works from life to capture subtle moods. This vibrant painting portrays an owl she rescued and spent time with during its recovery. She recalls how a year after its release, “it came back to show me four baby owls. The owl now visits my dreams from time to time as an omen of good news.”
