Are you a recent graduate or an educator looking for something to do this summer? 

Join the Farnsworth Art Museum for an exciting summer as a part-time Programs Assistant. You will administer and coordinate studio art programs, online studio and public programs, summer art camp, and programming for our 2022 exhibitions and Maine in America Award. 

We are looking or an enthusiastic, creative, organized team player who can administer a number of different in person and online experiences. Position will include working the online or in-person program and running it; updating programs on internal calendars, email correspondence, and coordinating logistics with key staff. Skills with administering art activities for children and adults, keeping art studio supplied and tidy, monitoring Zoom and PowerPoint online programs, customer service skills, and experience administering in person public program is necessary. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the museum field, anyone with teaching or museum programming/public programming experience. 

Position runs through August 2022, and possibly through September 2022.
