Suggested Attire

We are asked daily what to wear so we coined a new phrase, Summer Festive, a cross between formal and cocktail wear and decidedly Maine!

We’ve seen all manner of dress at the gala and it’s most important that you are comfortable and express your individual style.

This is not black tie but it’s more formal than cocktail attire. There may be some longer gowns and dresses, but certainly a mix of lengths along with dressy pants. We expect some others might wear suits & some may wear blazers and festive trousers with a mix of ties and no ties. We can’t predict the weather and that might influence some last-minute decisions. What’s important is that it’s a celebratory evening at the Museum!
